A Welcome from the Heart
From the moment we arrived, we felt embraced by the warm hospitality of the staff. The surrounding nature, vibrant décor, and outdoor dining created a magical atmosphere. Our afternoons spent hiking to the Tjampuhan Waterfall were truly memorable.
However, the lack of WiFi in some areas proved to be inconvenient, as we couldn't share our incredible experiences in real time. Plus, the distant location required some effort to reach local attractions, which might not suit everyone.

Our River Valley Pool Bale was seriously stunning! The private pool gave us breathtaking views of the jungle, and the outdoor design really connected us to nature. The bed was super comfy and cozy, especially at night when the curtains were closed. Plenty of space made it even better, and we loved how private everything felt. Overall, it was just a beautiful and relaxing room!

Families seeking a unique escape
The outdoor activities were exceptional! ! We spent our days trekking through the lush jungle to a breathtaking waterfall, and even had organic meals prepared from ingredients picked just moments before from their own garden!
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but considering the experience, I found it acceptable.

The River Valley Pool Bale featured a stunning private pool that offered breathtaking jungle views, making it a perfect retreat from the outside world. The open-air design created a seamless connection with nature, enhancing the overall experience.
Be ready for a workout. the hillside location means you'll be tackling a significant number of stairs if your villa is near the car pick-up. The dining experience, while fresh and healthy, can be inconsistent with the five-course prix fixe menu, leaving some dishes a hit or miss for different palates. Additionally, the WiFi connection struggles at times, which can be frustrating if you’re hoping to stay online, although it’s a good excuse to unplug.

The River Valley Pool Bale featured a private pool that offered breathtaking views of the lush jungle, creating a perfect retreat. Spa facilities were great too for relaxation after adventures.

Oh man, the dining here had me drooling! The plant-based meals were a wild ride of flavors. shoutout to Chef Eka and Chef Agus for nailing it! Plus, we were serenaded by nature at breakfast on the terrace, with jungle views that'll make your heart sing. De Gus, our host, was a gem too, making sure we had everything we needed for an unforgettable stay!
Now, don't get me wrong, we totally loved our stay, but there were a few hiccups. The service organization was a bit wobbly. we had to remind them a few times about our requests. And be ready for a leg workout—those stairs from the villa to the pick-up point are no joke!
